Things to do in Keyport, NJ
Henry Hudson Trail
The Henry Hudson Trail runs through the entire Bayshore including Keyport, connecting each town. You can walk, run or ride your bike up + down the Bayshore hopping off in Keyport to explore the town.
Parks
There are parks all around town in Keyport, from the skate park to several playgrounds with one right in town on the water. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon with kids.
Ghost Tours
Keyport is old + with age comes ghosts. You walk along the beautiful waterfront promenade + around town, where ghosts of pirates and rumrunners still linger. This is especially fun during the Halloween season.

Whether you want to spend a day out fishing, go whale watching or enjoy the July fireworks hop on the Keyport Princess for endless fun out on the water.

Antique Shopping
Park on W. Front Street in Keyport where you can spend the day hopping in + out of antique + vintage clothing shops. You may find a hidden treasure.
Events
For a small town Keyport is packed full of events especially during the summer season from concerts to movies on the water to kid friendly events. Don't miss the next event - Light up the Bay on Thursday, August 17th with music by Ninedeeze Night.

Everything Thursday from May to October, Keyport hosts a Farmer's Market where you can shop local farmers, vendors + more.

Situated on the beautiful Raritan Bay, Keyport is the perfect place to kayak or paddle board with plenty of places to launch. If you don't own your own you can rent one from A Canoe to You.
Jet Ski + Boat Rentals
Enjoy the bay on the water. Rent jet skis for an exciting day out on the bay or a rent pontoon boats for a more relaxing day out in the water with Jersey Jet Ski.

Drew's Bayshore Bistro
The best place to eat in Keyport. A Bayshore staple, Drew's is cooking up New Orlean style cuisine + it is divine. From his famous voodoo shrimp to craw fish etoufee to jambalaya + more. It is the perfect date night spot or for a foodie friend feast.

Mexican Spots
Keyport is home to several authentic Mexican spots each serving up their own delicious tacos, dishes + more. Here are my favorites:
Tropico Mexican Restaurant located at 7 W Front Street cooking up my favorite carne enchilada + al pastor tacos. If you stop in say Hi to Antonio, he is the best.
EL Ranchero Mexican Restaurant located on 150 1st Street cooking up delicious tamales + tacos.
Los Corrales located on 204 Broad Street serving up tacos + more.
Broad Street Diner
Voted best diner in New Jersey, you cannot go wrong with a meal at Broad Street Diner in Keyport. It is a quintessential NJ diner cooking up everything for breakfast, lunch + dinner. Go hungry because their portions are huge.

Front Street Pizza
My favorite pizza place in Keyport. It is the perfect spot to grab a slice to go + hang out by the Keyport Waterfront. Their chicken Cesar slice is my favorite.

Lenora's Cafe
A great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner serving delicious food with an Mexican American twist. A favorite dish of mine is their enchiladas.

Nemo's
Sushi with a view. Enjoy sushi rolls, Asian fusion dishes + more at Nemo's the sushi spot in Keyport. They also now have bubble tea!

Gourmet Italian Delights
Ice cream is always a good idea. Gourmet Italian Delights in Keyport is scooping up delicious ice cream that you can enjoy outside with a beautiful view of the Bay.

Keyport Fishery
A Keyport staple + the place in town where there will always be a line. The Keyport Fisher sells fresh fish + perfectly fried fish dishes. I am a huge fan of their chowders.
Keyport Funhouse
It is not just a store selling fun + quirky things, you can also grab a coffee, tea, egg cream or sweet treat. Keyport Funhouse also hosts fun workshops + has a Barbie pop up happening until the end of August.

First Wok
If you get that craving for good old Chinese take-out First Wok in Keyport is the place. It hits the spot every time + is my favorite Chinese takeout. Their general tso is fantastic.
Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits
Patriotic restaurant with wood burning oven cooking up pizza, wings + more. It's a great place for a date night in Keyport.

The spot in Keyport to grab a drink + pub grub. It is a great spot to hang out with friends + enjoy the outside patio. You definitely do not want to miss their St. Patrick's Day party.

The cocktail + the pea. Meet 3BR Distillery in Keyport making spirits distilled from split peas. Here you will find craft cocktails made with spirits produced on-site each one more unique than the next.
